What Is DNS Propagation?
DNS propagation is the time it takes for DNS changes to spread across all DNS servers worldwide. When you update a DNS record, the change starts at your authoritative nameserver and gradually reaches recursive resolvers as their cached entries expire.
Propagation typically takes 1-48 hours depending on the TTL values of the previous records. Checking multiple providers gives you a quick view of propagation status.
